What are acoustic felt panels?
Acoustic felt panels are sound-absorbing panels made from dense, pressed polyester felt. EFEKT uses recycled PET felt, made from post-consumer plastic, which absorbs echo and background noise and gives the room a calmer, clearer sound.
Felt is a good material for design-led spaces. It is solid in colour, it can be cut cleanly into any shape, and it does not need a fabric wrapping. That is why we can make panels, baffles, clouds and lighting from the same material, in the same colour range, for one consistent look.

What are acoustic felt panels?
Acoustic felt panels are panels made from pressed polyester felt that absorb sound. They reduce echo and noise inside a room. EFEKT makes them from recycled PET felt, cut to your shape, size and colour.
What is PET felt made from?
PET felt is made from polyester, and ours is made from recycled, post-consumer PET. It is pressed into dense sheets that can be cut and shaped cleanly.
How well do acoustic felt panels absorb sound?
Our recycled PET felt reaches an NRC of 0.85 or higher. Ask us for the test details for the thickness and pattern you choose.
Which colours are available?
There are more than 50 felt colours. You can try colours and patterns on your own wall with our online Custom Wall designer and view them in AR.
Are the panels fire rated?
Fire performance depends on the felt and the project. Tell us what your building or fit-out requires and we send the data sheet that applies to your project.
How do I clean acoustic felt?
Use a soft brush or a vacuum with a brush attachment.
