A parametric wall is built from hundreds of slim felt slats, each set to its own depth. Together they form waves, ripples or even a picture, and they absorb sound as well.

Every slat is a 12 mm strip of recycled PET felt, fixed to a 12 mm felt base. The height of each slat's edge follows a rule: a wave, a ripple, a gradient or a shape taken from a 3D file.
Because the depth changes slowly from one slat to the next, light and shadow move across the wall as you walk past. It looks sculpted, yet it is made of one flat, honest material.
The many edges and gaps also catch sound, so the wall is as useful as it is striking.
