A podcast room that sounds clear and looks designed.
Custom acoustic panels that remove echo from your voice and turn the wall behind you into part of your brand.
Why most podcast rooms sound bad.
A spare room or office has hard, flat walls, a bare ceiling and glass. Sound bounces between them, so your microphone records your voice plus its echo. The result is a hollow, boomy sound that is hard to fix in editing.
Acoustic panels soak up those reflections before they reach the microphone. Your voice stays close, warm and clear, and listeners stay longer.
A note on soundproofing: panels improve the sound inside the room. They do not stop outside noise coming in. If traffic or neighbours are the issue, tell us and we will advise honestly.
Simple placement that works.
1. The walls beside and behind you
Start with the side walls at the height of your mouth and ears, where your voice reflects first. Treat the wall behind the microphone too, so sound has nowhere to bounce back.
2. A ceiling cloud above
The ceiling is the largest untreated surface in most small rooms. One suspended cloud over the recording position cuts the echo that panels on the walls alone leave behind.
3. Corners
Corners trap low, boomy sound. Panels placed in or near the corners tighten the voice and make it feel less muddy.
4. Do not forget the floor and glass
A rug and curtains over windows help a lot. Our panels do the rest, and we can plan the layout from your room size and photos.
Video podcast? The wall is your backdrop.
Most audiences now watch as well as listen. Acoustic panels are the most flattering thing you can put behind a host: texture, depth and colour instead of a plain white wall.
We cut recycled PET felt into waves, lines and relief in your brand colours, and can add a shape or logo. Try it yourself in the 3D wall designer, then view it on your own wall in AR on your phone.
